PIANIST AND CONDUCTOR ANDRÉ PREVIN
TO APPEAR WITH HOST NANCY SHEAR ON PRESTIGIOUS “CONVERSATIONS”
SERIES

IN BÖSENDORFER ARTIST SALON IN NEW YORK CITY
A rare opportunity to meet, greet, and hear the personal insights
of the brilliant conductor, composer, and pianist André Previn will
take place on Monday, February 25, 2008 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The
setting is the beautiful and intimate Bösendorfer Artist Salon at
200 Lexington Avenue (at 32rd Street) in New York City. Previn,
who is a Bösendorfer Artist, will be interviewed by Nancy Shear.
The event is presented by Music For All Seasons, which brings professional
musical performances to people confined in institutions.
Tickets to the February 25 event are $75 (partly tax deductible).

evening's program includes a question-and-answer session and an
opportunity to speak with André Previn at a reception with Austrian
wines and European cheeses for members of the audience.
The conversations are led by Nancy Shear, the distinguished writer,
broadcaster and lecturer known for her lively, stimulating and insightful
interviews. These "Conversations" provide rare insights into the
careers and lives of the guests, and offer a behind-the-scenes glimpse
into the music world. This season's series featured distinguished
New York Philharmonic conductor and Music Director Lorin Maazel
in October and renowned violinist Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg in November,
and will conclude with a program featuring the beloved composer
and musical satirist Peter Schickele, of P.D.Q. Bach fame, on April
14 (Monday). The "Conversations" are held in unusual and interesting
venues in New York City.
Music For All Seasons, an organization that brings the healing
power of live musical performances to residential institutions,

2008 Grants
Music For All Seasons Award for Domestic Violence Shelters Program
WASHINGTON, DC, February 12, 2008 – Today, the
Johnson & Johnson/Society for the Arts in Healthcare partnership
announced the 2008 award recipients of its annual grant program,
designed to bridge the gap between illness and health and promote
the use of the arts to enhance the healthcare experience for patients,
their families and caregivers.
Grants were awarded to eight organizations in the U.S. and Canada
to support new and innovative projects that will use art to advance
healing and preventative health. Chosen from more than 130 proposals,
the awards portray an imaginative array of art, drama, film, music
and writing therapies.
The Awardees
From 2001 to 2008, Johnson & Johnson and the Society for the
Arts in Healthcare have supported 115 cutting-edge programs. Funding
leading models and initiatives in high quality healthcare through
the arts, this annual grant opportunity is open to Society for the
